Welcome

The Berkshire Talking Chronicle (BTC)
is a nonprofit, almost all volunteer radio reading service for the blind and print-impaired community of Berkshire County. There is no other service such as ours in Berkshire County. We provide 24 hours of over-the-air programming every day seven days a week, with a concentration on information not available through other media sources such as regular radio and television broadcasts. Anyone with a print impairment is eligible to receive our free service. Print impairment means having any difficulty reading due to visual issues, reading disabilities or inability to hold a paper or book due to a physical or mental impairment. Our programming keeps our listeners informed and in touch with their local communities.
